Spring 2025 Covid Vaccinations 

This Spring, we will be offering eligible patients the opportunity to have their Covid vaccination with clinics starting on the 1st April 2025.

Invitations will be sent via text message or letter in week commencing the 10th of March 2025. Text messages will contain a self-booking link.

Where can I have my Covid vaccination

You can choose to have your Covid & Flu vaccination at any of the practices in our primary care network. This means you can choose from any of the following locations:

• Christchurch Family Medical Practice - Downend
• The Willow Surgery - Downend
• The Orchard Medical Centre
• Leap Valley Surgery
• Abbotswood Surgery
• Pucklechurch Surgery
• Marshfield Community Centre
• Wick Surgery
• Colerne Surgery (limited to Colerne patients)

Appointments will be available throughout the weekend and on Saturdays, meaning you can choose a time suitable for you. 

What if I don’t have a mobile phone

Please be assured that we have your details and will contact all eligible patients who have not registered a mobile phone with us. 

I am a housebound patient

If you meet the eligibility criteria, one of our team members will make contact to advise you of the day we will come out and visit. 

How do I know if I am eligible for the Covid vaccine

From 1st April 2025, the Covid vaccine will be available to the following eligible patient groups:

• those aged 75 years and over
• those immunosuppressed over 6 months old
• Residents in care homes for older adults

I think I am eligible but have not received an appointment invitation

If you have not received an invitation within 5 working days of text invites, please contact the practice reception team.
